5W Analog VTX Built for OEM Drone Integration

FV5000 is a compact, actively cooled analog video transmitter for equipment brands and UAV integrators requiring a defined 5W-class VTX module.

Its 36 × 36mm mechanical footprint, 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting pattern and six RF output presets provide practical starting points for hardware selection. Customers can purchase the finished unit or engage UltroNiu for separate RF PCB/PCBA manufacturing projects.

Engineering and procurement

Why Choose FV5000 Instead of a Generic VTX?

A transmitter is only useful when its mechanical fit, power supply, control and thermal requirements work with the customer's platform. FV5000 gives engineers a defined module to evaluate while supporting separate manufacturing engagement.

Six Power Presets

Select 25mW through 5000mW nominal output levels for setup and application-dependent RF planning.

96 Frequency Presets

Twelve bands with eight channels each support a range of analog receiver configurations, subject to regional permissions.

Active Heat Dissipation

Built-in fan and heatsink help manage the thermal demands of high-output operation with adequate airflow.

OEM Supply + PCBA

Source finished modules or request customer-designed RF PCB fabrication, SMT assembly and engineering support.

RF output selection

Six Selectable RF Power Levels

The FV5000 offers six output settings—25, 200, 500, 1000, 3000 and 5000mW. These are nominal module settings, not a guarantee of the same conducted output across every channel, ambient condition or installation.

500mWMid
1000mW1W
3000mW3W
5000mW5W max

SmartAudio & OSD Configuration

Adjust supported settings using SmartAudio; onboard button controls also provide channel, band and output-level selection.

Pit Mode & Delayed PA Startup

Supports Pit Mode and an approximately five-second power-amplifier start delay, as described in the product specification.

Complete 96-Channel Analog VTX Frequency Table

FV5000 provides 96 discrete preset channels. Frequency names are band labels rather than regulatory approvals; the 5.8GHz product label does not mean every preset is inside the same license-exempt spectrum allocation.

Mechanical and power design

  • Allow sufficient airflow through the rear fan and heat-sink fins.
  • Provide 14.6–28V DC at the power input with adequate supply-current headroom.
  • Respect the 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting pattern and verify enclosure clearance.

Signal & RF connections

  • The transmitter-side RF interface is MMCX; confirm both ends of the selected RF pigtail.
  • Use the approved 6-pin harness drawing to check the 14.6–28V input, power ground, SmartAudio, video input, signal ground and 5V output.
  • Connect a compatible antenna or appropriate matched RF load before applying power; do not operate without the cooling fan.

The product photos are physical connection references, not a substitute for a controlled wiring drawing. Installation depends on the flight controller, camera, antenna assembly and local radio spectrum rules.

PCB-to-product supply model

Finished FV5000 Supply or RF PCB / PCBA Manufacturing

UltroNiu supports two different purchasing routes: ready-to-integrate video transmitters and manufacturing services for customer-owned RF hardware. This is useful for drone brands that need a reference module now and engineering or supply-chain flexibility for later platform revisions.
