What you'll be doing:

Perform TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) testing on high-speed PCB coupons per work order;

Connect probes to differential/single-ended traces and record impedance values;
-
Compare test results against customer impedance specs (e.g., 50Ω ±10%);
-
Flag out-of-spec panels and label non-conforming units;
-
Maintain test probes and perform daily verification with standard impedance board.
What we need to see:
-
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
-
1+ years of experience in PCB electrical testing, preferably with TDR or flying probe;
-
Basic understanding of transmission lines and characteristic impedance;
-
Careful with data recording and attention to small deviations;
-
Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry).
