What you'll be doing:
-
Operate UV and CO2 laser drilling machines to create microvias in HDI panels;
-
Load/unload panels, set up job parameters (beam size, pulse energy, shot count) per engineering instruction;
-
Perform first-article inspection of via diameter, depth, and taper using microscope;

Clean optics and perform daily machine checks (alignment, beam profile);
-
Log machine run hours and report tooling issues.
What we need to see:
-
Associate degree in Mechanical, Electronics or related field;
-
1+ years of hands-on experience with laser drilling in PCB manufacturing;
-
Basic understanding of microvia formation for HDI and high-frequency boards;
-
Ability to use measuring microscopes and calipers;
-
Willing to work in cleanroom environment with proper PPE.
